Thank you to all who have been praying for us and checking with us for an update on our adoption. As we stand now, we have decided to remove ourselves from the Azerbaijan program. We are members of a Yahoo Group for families that have or are currently adopting from Azerbaijan. It is full of families that are still hanging on to pictures of children since 2006. So we are bowing out of that program.
We are still happy with our adoption agency. And we've sunk enough money into C.H. that we have to choose between programs they offer. We appreciate any and all prayers as we decide which program to move to. Thanks!

Charisa, I know this was a difficult decision for you. We will pray that the Lord directs your next decisions. We will be watching as the Lord uses this to position you right where He wants, at the right time, because He knows the perfect child that needs your family.
Charisa, thanks for the updates. I will be praying for you guys as you seek guidance from the Lord on where He will be directing your family. A verse that I really like is Proverbs 16:9 "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." It's a great reminder of how wonderful it is that God is in control of our lives and situations.
What a comfort to know this is not a surprise to the Lord. We look forward to seeing how God provides in the days to come. Praying for you!
