Dear Phil and Charisa,
I received some disappointing news from VCT today. The Scrutiny agency did not get their report filed in time for the hearing, so the 1st hearing has been postponed to after Summer Recess on 1 June. They also shared that your case is in a court with a new judge who is just learning adoption matters. It is very frustrating to say the least, but this is not unusual for the Bangalore court process. New judges come in and have to be ‘educated’ on adoption matters. We can hope the judge is compassionate and a quick learner. VCT has been making personal visits to the court, but they don’t seem to be having any affect yet. We will keep you informed of any updates, but I don’t expect anything new until after 1 June.

Hang in there. I'm so sorry for your waiting. Job23:10 "For He knows the way that I take, when He has tried me, I shall come forth as Gold." God isn't wasting the waiting!
