First Personal Fast

Precious Prayer Warriors,

I plan to do my first personal day of fasting and praying (I've done it one other time but it was for another's need) on April 12th regarding our paperwork and a favorable action by the court that night while we sleep (India's Wednesday the 13th). I know the decision to fast is not a way to "twist God's arm" into giving me that for which I am asking. But I do know Satan would like to interfere in this adoption. Also, I know there are times God calls us to exercises of discipline for our good. Anyway, all that to say that it would be a huge encourage- ment if others were willing to join me. Would you be willing to comment on this post to let me know you will be on your knees as well bathing that day in prayer? For a little more explanation you can read the following note from Holt as to what is at stake:

The judge told Mary Paul to have the attorney submit a request to advance the hearing up to 13 April. If this request is granted, then the attorney will have to push the judge to complete the hearings in time to issue the court order before the Summer Recess. We don’t know if this will be successful or not. It could be that the first hearing will occur on 4/13 and then nothing further until after the Summer Recess. It could be that the first and second hearings could occur before the Summer Recess, but then nothing further until after the break. We just don’t know and have to wait and see if the judge heeds Mary’s please for expediency.
