Completing Our Clan: Celebrating!!!

This blog journals our quest to find and adopt a young girl into our family. We believe God has a special girl picked out for us that He has created just for our family. And we believe that He has designed our family to meet the unique needs she has.

Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV) "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with is love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Orphans aren't forgotten. They aren't a faceless crowd. They are not abandoned. He is mighty to save. They are precious to Him. And so are you.

Celebrating!!!

OUR HOMESTUDY IS FINISHED!!!!!!

Cathy has completed writing our homestudy!!!! We received it tonight to go over and it was also sent to Angie at Holt to go over. Upon Holt's approval, it will be sent to DCFS for their approval. After that, we can submit our forms to Immigration and head to Chicago for yet more fingerprinting. But, in the meantime, we are celebrating getting one step closer to our little girl!!!
