This blog journals our quest to find and adopt a young girl into our family. We believe God has a special girl picked out for us that He has created just for our family. And we believe that He has designed our family to meet the unique needs she has.
Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV) "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with is love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Orphans aren't forgotten. They aren't a faceless crowd. They are not abandoned. He is mighty to save. They are precious to Him. And so are you.
I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. I Samuel 1:27 AND HER NAME IS HANNAH JOY!
Hahaha!! I am laughing at Daniel and sighing...:sigh: b/c it really is sweet - a daddy's love. And Philip - it looks like you played "hang the plastic for painting twister"...I have been trying to figure out in my head just exactly how the plastic hanging in the one picture got that way....and for mercy sakes, why it looks like that??? (just wondering) If you could clarify that for me I'd be much obliged :) (and I WILL show myself on this one - seriously thought about going completely anon.:P
okay, did I even spell obliged right?? it's late and I've been thinking about that plastic too long so my brain isn't working right on the cells it has left. RS :)
The plastic is hung quite simply, it just looks goofy because of the picture. There is a sheet of plastic over each wall, and one wrapped around the fan. Since the second picture was taken through the door, the plastic was pulled up and over the door to keep from tearing it down with the door open. So, you're looking through some wall plastic to see the rest of the room. : )
