So behind on my blog! We've been in Texas for two weeks and so much has happened. First, due to DCFS dragging their feet on running our background checks, our USCIS paperwork was going to expire. Scary! We sent out an urgent plea to everyone we knew to pray. We were out of time and needed a miracle! Our friends and family banded together and lifted up our case before our Lord. I can't put into words how loved and encouraged we felt because of you all. God used Rep. Keith Sommer to get our clearances and move forward in renewing our paperwork. Praise God!!!
Also, during that time, Hannah had her 2nd hearing. We passed and were assigned August 11th as her third hearing. We are praying that will be her final hearing and we can travel soon after to bring her home.
And now for what you've all been waiting for.....NEW PICTURES!!!! This kid is obviously packed with personality! I couldn't help but laugh out loud as I looked through them. Not only will her name remind me of the lessons I am learning of God's joy, but I think her nickname 'Sunshine' fits her to a T. Hannah exudes JOY!

Oh she is so very BEAUTIFUL and yes, she does exude joy. I am sure your heart is breaking and happy all at the same time as you look through these pictures. I know you can not wait to have her in your home. Were you praying for patience or something??? ;)
She does look like "Sunshine." She has alot of spunk and sas! You absolutely have to try to bring home her dress...it would be a nice memory to have some clothing from some of the photos that you have looked at so many times.
Oh my goodness, she is just beautiful, and so happy and full of joy! You must be so excited!
