Watching the Kentucky Derby every year growing up was a treasured tradition in our family. With today's arrival of mail, I feel as though I am on my thoroughbred. The bells have rung and the gates have been flung open. And we're off!!!!
We received our I-797C today from Immigration in response to filing our I-800A on January 23rd and subsequent fingerprinting on February 18th. This is about 2 months earlier than expected. So, we will now gladly scramble to put our finishing touches on our waiting dossier documents and get them all mailed in to Holt for their approval. Once they look over everything with a fine tooth comb and make sure it is all correct, we will send it off to get apostilled. And after that....Bulgaria!!!!
We are also in the midst of a HUGE excavating job around our house to install drainage pipe and rock. David Philyaw comes tomorrow to backfill with his machinery and hopefully finishes the job. We are also trying to get our master bedroom furniture moved downstairs to the new room. Then we can race to get all the old master walls stripped, painted and bordered so all the girls' furniture cane be moved in when it is delivered on Wednesday, the 11th. Phew!!!

Yeah!!! What a relief that you did not have to have your fingerprinting done again! I'm so excited to follow along with your excitement. Our first homestudy meeting is tomorrow. Pray with us! ;o)
Congratulations!! I know what it's like to get USCIS approval faster than expected. Good luck wrapping up your dossier. :)
How exciting!
Congrats. Only God could have done this,I have heard of so many people having to redo their homestudies for the 1800A and taking 3 months to get a response. Awesome! Let us know when you get registered.
Yeah for progress! and that looks like a very large job outside your house.
Praying for your journey!
