God Continues to Work Miracles

I wrote the following to Peter, Dr. A's brother and Dr. A was copied:
"While in Bangalore, I am hoping for the opportunity to visit St. John's hospital. Hannah was in their NICU from May 26th to June 2, 2009, but I do not have any of those medical records. It is my desire to acquire those. Not sure if it will be possible, but I would like to try."

Dr. A responded right away with the following note:
"St John's Medical College was my medical school and I want you to meet Dr. *****, who was my classmate and is now the chief of pediatric surgery at St John's Hospital. He will definitely help you get the medical records. In case, Dr. ***** is not available, please contact Dr. *****, who is the professor of pathology at St John's and also my cousin. She will certainly help you get the records."

Only God could have planned and connected this midwest family with this Houston, TX/Bangalore, India family to supply our lodging and paperwork needs. It was so neat to sit our children down and explain what God was doing and then to tell them He has had this plan since the beginning of time- back when He created Adam and Eve- and to see their eyes get so big! And it has also been really neat to have them clearly see, not only our local church, but a global Family of God working to take care of us. These are lessons I hope I will never let them forget.

Mom and Dad arrived Sunday evening. The kids are so excited to have their Nanna and Grandpa Joe with them! Mom and Dad have already been a huge blessing. It is now Tuesday with Thanksgiving being on Thursday. We leave Saturday at about 2:30PM. I will post again once our trip begins. Until then, I hope you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving!

Have to admit this was one of the regrets I had, not having his medical echo's from the hospital in Sophia. Didn't think about it, but it would help us now in the USA. So excited for you guys. So close! Celeste Haven

I am so blessed to have gotten to watch you guys walk this journey. Your 'realness' and faith has been challenging to my own faith walk and God has used this whole process to work in my husband's and my life to spur us to pursue adoption as well. I don't think any of us will fully know all the ways God has worked in this process, but the one's we have seen have been awesome to behold. Thank you for sharing this journey with us and blessings on you and your family as you bring Hannah home. Happy Thanksgiving!
