I both laughed and cried this morning with the realization of God's protection of our family.

On a lighter note, Philip was changing the battery this morning in the smoke detector. Corban came running in the kitchen to where I was making breakfast with big wide eyes asking "What your heart doing, Mommy? What your heart doing?" That's just great. My two year old equates the sound of a heart to a smoke detector beep because of the number of times I've been on a heart monitor :)
