Thanks so much for sending your application for the Azerbaijan program. Steve is sick this week, so I thought I would write to you. It looks from your application that you meet the criteria for the program. We have just learned that Azerbaijan is becoming more stringent on their requirements for proof of income and assets. I just want to be sure that you will meet the requirements for the program in that aspect before we begin the full process of adoption. I have attached a financial form which is required for your Azerbaijan dossier. Please complete this information and return it to me by e-mail, fax, or mail. I plan to send it to our Azerbaijan facilitator to look over and let us know for certain that you meet the criteria. Clearly your income is sufficient, but Azerbaijan views families on a case by case basis. This is just a precaution. We do not want to start the process and then be told somewhere down the road that they will not let the adoption continue. Thanks so much! We look forward to working with you!
